WAX Atelier

WAX Atelier is a London-based artisan wax studio founded in 2017 by designers Lola Lely and Yesenia Thibault-Picazo. Rooted in a shared interest in material exploration and traditional craft, the studio specialises in the design and production of contemporary everyday wax objects that celebrate colour, form and process.

Working with pure beeswax, WAX Atelier creates hand-dipped candles, distinctive candle holders, waxed flowers and sculptural wax goods. Each piece is carefully made in their London workshop, where candles are individually dipped and wrapped by hand - honouring traditional techniques while embracing a refined, modern aesthetic.

Blending design sensibility with artisanal batch-production, WAX Atelier’s collections are defined by their tactile quality, considered colour palettes and a deep appreciation for the quiet beauty of everyday rituals.

About mikkaneo – Our Values

1. Regional and authentic products

We stand for authentic, regional products that come directly from the people in their local communities and convey the spirit of their home and their story. We do this in a true partnership and never in a way that comes at their expense.

2. Cultural & artistic support

We support Europe’s art and cultural scene by giving artists and small labels from across the continent visibility and reach for their products. In addition, we donate 10% of our annual revenue to projects that promote art and culture in Europe.

3. Sustainable & environmentally conscious consumption

We rely on durable, high-quality products, not cheaply produced industrial goods with a short lifespan. We aim for climate-neutral consumption and plan to make mikkaneo climate-neutral across all value chains by 2026.
