Jug Jarra Terracota
Traditional ceramic jug with hand-braided handle in terracotta: The Jarra Terracota jug is hand-thrown and glazed by the Roca Caus family in Verdú, Catalonia.
For almost 300 years, the family in Verdú has been crafting vases, jugs, oil dispensers, candle holders and ceramic figures by hand, firing them to this day in their Moorish kiln from 1730.
Braided handle: The traditional braiding technique gives each jug its own individual shape and makes the Catalan craftsmanship visible. Perfect as a water jug, or for cool juices and lemonades on hot days.
Only ecological and sustainable raw materials are used in its production. The handcrafted process creates slight differences in shape, surface and glaze, making each piece truly special.
Capacity: The jug has a capacity of 1.25 litres.
Note: The Jarra Terracota jug is dishwasher safe (short or delicate programme); however, hand washing is recommended.
