Oil Cruet Lérida
Traditional ceramic oil cruet Lérida: The Lérida ceramic oil cruet is hand-thrown, hand-dipped and hand-painted by the Roca Caus family in Verdú, Catalonia.
For almost 300 years, the family in Verdú has been crafting vases, jugs, oil cruets, candle holders and ceramic figures by hand, firing them to this day in their Moorish kiln from 1730.
Design with a centuries-old history: The terracotta and white base glaze is applied by hand using traditional dip glazing, and the green, blue and yellow colour gradients are then painted on by hand. This traditional design originates from the province of Lérida in northern Catalonia, to which the small town of Verdú belongs.
Only ecological and sustainable raw materials are used in its production. The handcrafted process creates slight differences in shape, surface and glaze, making each piece truly special.
Easy refilling: Oil or vinegar can easily be poured in from above through a side opening, without spilling a single drop.
Capacity: The oil cruet has a capacity of 400 ml.
Note: The Lérida oil cruet is dishwasher safe.
